Very Deliquent - Finally an Update!

We left off with what was happening last September...follow the previous update I did the following:

For The Love Of Fashion show at the Escape Ultra Club

Show some private clients including one accepted by Playboy

Next was Genevieve Lee from Florida. We did a variety of shoots on a couple different days. Lots of fun to work with!

Next was the Bicardi 3003 Tour at the Fahrenheit club shot for The Cites magazine

Then came Victoria von Helkine from Seattle...she flew in to get some content for her site. She had an awesome wardrobe and said she would be back for more!

Next up was Jessica, a gal I picked as the winner of the Venus Swimwear competition. She came by for some portfolio pix before going to Venus in Florida. Still have her watch she left here...come back Jessica!

Then the Boo Ball...the biggest Halloween part in the area...this time it was at Circus Juventas in St. Paul. A place where people learn circus act skills and other performance arts. In fact I just happened to see one of the performers again I saw there that night...

Well...that gets us through October...enough for one update...will get back sooner for the next one!

Ayanna, Liz, BarFly, and Spin

Again I am behind on new so I will try to fast forward a bit...

September was a great month because I got to shoot Ayanna again. A model I have shot several times and really enjoy working with. We did our Lollipop shoot and she did the craziest stuff.

Following her was another model, Liz, that was referred to me by another photographer but she was freaked and keep hoping we can try again.

Next up was to shoot the new BarFly club for their website. This was a real compliment since the door guy is a photographer. We also used the pix on TwinCitiesNightClubs.Com.

Next we shot the pre-opening night of the Spin club, the latest, hotest club downtown. It was an awful night due to major management problems as well as all the egos involved. It was nice to see what the new club was like but in retrospect I would have passed on the "pleasure" of going there. I hope they can flush the management and get some people who know how to treat their guests since they are in the service business.

Fall has come, the pool is closed, leaves have fallen...yech...

Chicago, Glamourcon, and Playboy's Kira Reed

One of my routine gigs is official photographer for Glamourcon. They are mainly held in Chicago and Los Angeles due to their connection with Playboy. Glamourcon is basically an autograph show with a strong focus on Playboy Playmates and other Playboy models plus Penthouse Pets, actresses and other minor celebrites.

GlamourCon

At the show I met Minnesota's most recent Playmate, Audra Lynn that I had met before in LA. She is a lovely young lady that is a great representative of what the midwest has to offer. Also saw one of my favorite Playmates and actress, Shannon Tweed. She is another one I see routinely on late night TV. I even have her domain name and hope to develop it with her sometime. I am also trying to get her to do a shoot. So many great models and great times!

While there I take advantage of the model availability to shoot some away from the show. This time I was able to shoot Kira Reed, Playboy TV hostess and "B" movie goddess. There is hardly a night goes by I don't see her on some late night movie channel. I shot Kira solo and then with Candy Gisela Mejia, manager of the largest clothing optional resort in the US, located in Palm Springs. I had a great time with Kira and Candy and am looking forward to shooting them in LA or Palm Springs.

Thanks to my assistant Doug for his help!

Tristan, Kristy, Angelica Charms and Pool Parties

Tristan stopped by for a Lollipop shoot and we had a fun time even though I had her doing strange stuff like operating a bench grinder. She was a great sport and I hope she comes back again.

Kristy is a model with a lot of experience ranging from Playboy to Modern Bride, what a combination smile She was great to look at and great to work with. I shot her for rock site and a slip client and expect her back soon for more shoots!

Angelica Charms is a model that I have worked with several times and I found out she is working at one of the clubs downtown as a side job for the fun of it. She is a real trooper to work with and between her husband and I we kept her hopping. She always brings the coolest outfits to work with.

This summer I attempted to host three pool parties. The first one was too cold to pull off, the second one was nice but cool and the third one was nice but cool as well. The third one was the day after shooting Angelica who was at my previous party. Kristy also considered coming to town for the party but couldn't make it. Un beknownst to us we had more nice days in September than in August or June, a very strange summer for anything outside.

Wonderous Stevie and Lovely Luanne

Still catching up on model shoots and thought I would bring up the next two.

Stevie stopped by for her first shoot with me and one of her first shoots ever. We did a really cute squirrel shirt shoot for Lollipop. Stevie was having so much fun and was so smiley she had a hard time being "tough". Would hate to be her boyfriend as she would probably still be smiling as she slapped you for making a mistake smile Stevie is coming back soon and I am really looking forward to it!

Next up was Luanne, a model I have had here several times and one of our previous shoots will be hitting the newstand soon. She was here for a client shoot and as usual we talked and talked...we have common friends and experiences so there is always lots to talk about! Another great shoot!

Venus Swimwear and Long Time No Talk To

Didn't realize I had been away so long. Since the last time I wrote about the Venus Swimwear competition there were more weekly events, the semifinals, and then the finals. I am not sure if I mentioned it, but I judged the first night and said I would rather not shoot the contest and judge the contest. They had my assistant help judge but they ended up with a tie and asked me to break it. Was kind of nice getting to pick the winner. She was a very deserving young lady and I hope to work with her again.

You can see my official event pictures at this site:

Twin Cities Night Clubs Web Site

The pictures are still there from the Best Bod on the beach contest I also shot for the Tropix. One of the gals I shot at Tropix, Summer, will be in the next issue of Lollipop.

Enough for now, more model info in the next BLOG.

Venus Swimwear Competition, Sara and Ericka

Yes, many more Venus shoots. Have met a lot of really adorable women while working down there.

Had a new gal come by to give modeling a try. She didn't realize how much work it would be so she wants to get in better shape before coming back. Thanks Sara!

Another gal I have worked with for quite awhile came by. We spent way too much time talking and not enough shooting but it was nice having Ericka by again. Looking forward to her next trip out!

A model I am flying in from NYC had a personal problem and has delayed her trip. Other models set up through other photographers have flaked on them. Been a weird summer for trying to do shoots.

Have a real cutie scheduled soon..hope it works out this time smile

Have also shot some more Venus Swimwear competitions as well.

Next week are the Semi-Finals so be sure to get down to the Tropix Thursday.

Happy Independence Day!

Summer, Elle, and more Venus

One of the gals I met at Tropix while shooting the competitions was always wearing interesting outfits and was one of the more alternative gals there. I asked her if she would like to shoot for Lollipop and she said she would so she came over to pose for the magazine ads. She also brought a friend Elle who had done some modeling in the past. I have also seen Elle at Tropix but had never talked to her. Will be sending the pix to Lollipop next week.

I have also shot another Venus Swimwear competition since my last BLOG entry. There have been many very attractive entrants worth to represent Minnesota.

More Venus Swimwear and Ayanna

Since shooting the first week's Venus swimwear competition I have shot two more weeks. Have worked with a great bunch of young women as well as the John Casablancas people.

I found out the competition isn't over until July 15th. I am delighted to say that my assistant Doug and one of my favorite models, Candice, will be there to help out. I have been invited to have a booth to show off my services.

The lovely Ayanna came by for another shoot. Always great to have her by.

Another Venus competition coming up and some more model shoots.

Another publication!

A little while ago I did a shoot with two of my regular models for publication. I just heard from the publisher that both of the models will be published. They are of couse happy to be published (first time for both) and of course the money. Will give out more information when the magazines are actually published.

Venus Swimwear Competition at Tropix Night Club

This past Thursday, the 27th, I shot the beginning of the Venus Swimwear competition held at the Tropix nightclub. I am the official event photographer and will be shooting the event each Thursday through the finals on June 17th. In addition to being sponsored by Venus Swimwear, John Casablancas is involved in the competition as well. I worked with the regional VP to coordinate things as well. Had a great time and I am looking forward to the remaining competitions and the finals. You can see some pix from the first night here:

Two More Model Shoots - Ayanna and Leigh

Two of my favorite models made it back this past week for more shoots. I have been working with Leigh for awhile by helping provide content for her website for which I also do the hosting. We did a casualwear shoot amongst the blooming lilacs and then we went to the beach for some bikini shots.

Next I shot Ayanna. This was my second shoot with Ayanna. She is a 21-yo Japanese girl who dances at the Choice. She is starting a modeling career and picked me to work with. She is a delight to work with and is a natural and striking hot poses.

Both are due back in a week so I am looking forward to more shoots with them!

Playboy 50th Anniversary Club Tour

My assistant, Doug James, and I had VIP access to the Playboy 50th Anniversary Club tour on May 18th which was held at the Escape Ultra Lounge in Minneapolis. Of the ten Playmates in attendance I have worked with five of them before at other events. Was nice seeing them and the other five I hadn't met before. Pictures from the event have been posted on the Twin Cities Night Club site.

It was a great event with a lot of nice people including some of my models and others!

Models, models, where fore art thou....

I have been talking to models from LA, to Vegas, to Florida, to DC, New York, and Boston.

Seems everyone is taking finals, moving, figuring out their schedules, getting boob jobs and every other reason to delay you can imagine. I have many models in the queue to shoot with and will talk more about it when they actually show up smile I have also come down with a cold and might actually have to postpone a shoot scheduled for tomorrow.

I am always getting more things to work with and mamy of my props haven't been used. Today I picked up some straw bales which should be fun for a country look. Still waiting to use the parking meters I installed, the windmill, and my pink flamingo smile Lots of new things for a variety of looks!

For those going fishing this weekend, don't drink too much and remember to catch and release smile

German FOCUS magazine, Club Three Degrees and the Sara Renner Band

Out of the blue I was contacted by the German magazine FOCUS a couple weeks ago. FOCUS is described as being the German equivalent of Time and Newseek. They were doing an article on the Christain nightclub 3 Degrees. They wanted some pix of people dancing at the club and contacted me due to my nightclub photography work. As it turned out the Korean train crash pre-empted the article on the club so they didn't need pictures afterall.

German FOCUS Magazine Online

I didn't have on hand the pictures they needed but went to the club and shot some pix in case they were able to extend their deadline. I met the Pastor and Director for Three Degrees, Steve Aleksuk. He was very gracious, telling the staff to give me whatever I wanted while there. I heard they had some great food but was on too tight of a schedule to take advantage of their menu. The club is very nice and well laid out and full-featured.

Club Three Degrees

It happens that there was a nice group playing while I was at the club. The Minneapolis-based group is known as the Sara Renner Band and is composed of nationally known musicians and singers. They are known for a blend of jazz, soul, and gospel styles. Check out their site for more information on the goup:

More Web Hosting Clients

Some of you may or may not know that one of my side businesses is web hosting. I was honored recently that my mentor, Stan Malinowski, has begun moving some of his domains to my server. Stan has been my friend and mentor almost since I started in the glamour business. My first glamour shoots were in 1996 and I met and started working with Stan in January of 1998. Stan was one of the few if in fact maybe the only photographer to make his mark in fashion and glamour. Stan did a lot of work for both Playboy and Penthouse and then he was discovered by Vogue and went on to shoot for Vogue, Elle, Bazaar and other fashion magazines. Both domestic as well as their foreign editions.

Stan's sites aren't all re-established yet but here are the sites you can check:

Model Pix - Stan's main site

Stan Malinowski - The "old" version of Model Pix

Stan is also diving into the publishing business again, launching a new magazine called "VU". I have been watching Stan develop this magazine over time and can tell you that it will be phenomenal. He has gathered pictures from some of the top photographers around so you can expect something amazing. Stan is a pro with editing so the magazine will not just be his inspiration, but his own design and layout as well. To get a pre-publication glimpse of his magazine site, check it out here:

Stan, Thanks again for using Link Up Hosting for your hosting source:

Tropix, Tropix, and more Tropix

Since the last posting I did one more regular Tropix contest, then the semifinals, and then the finals last week. Was nice seeing the various winners again as I have gotten to know them pretty well over the weeks I have been shooting the contest.

My assistant, Doug, and I were sitting at the bar and were talking to one of the contestants and we mutually agreed she should be the winner and we also talked to some others and thought they deserved to be runnerups. As it turned out we picked the winner and two out of the three runner-ups. Was nice that the judges agreed with us. The grand winner was Nicole who is a student at Stout. I have since then been in contact with her and she said she would be back for the Venus Swimwear competition also held at the Tropix nightclub.

Congratulations to all the winners, semifinalists, and finalists.

More Tropix Shoots and Some Virtual Tours

Hello again....

Since the last BLOG I have shot two more Tropix Best Bods on the Beach competitions. I have a funny story to tell about my 4/1 shoot. As usual, I am mainly there to shoot the contestants. Sometimes I shoot others such as staff and some dance floor shots but I don't go out of my way to find individuals to shoot other than the contestants. I was sitting at the bar putting away my equipment and having a drink after finishing the contest winners shoot. A young lady came up to me all huffy like. She pointed to her friend who was exiting the club and said to me, "See that girl over there? Her and I are Calvin Klein models. You really screwed up by not taking our pictures!!!" She was quite put off that I hadn't found them and asked to take their pictures. Before I could even explain or discuss it with her she took off and left with her friend. Just goes to show you that you can't make everyone happy. When I left the club I went home and watched a movie before going to bed. Happened to be an old Burt Reynolds movie called "Temptation" or something like that. His wife in the movie was guess what.... Yes, a Calvin Klein model. Was so funny to be accosted by a Calvin Klein model and then to watch a movie with a Calvin Klein model in it.

Many of you might not know but aside from my glamour/fetish/erotic shoots I am also a virtual tour photographer, mainly for the real estate business. I was asked the other day to shoot three new model homes on the WAY north side of town. The first one was real nice, the next one was OK, but the last one was way awesome. I got some great tours shot and am anxious to get the client's feedback.

Have many models talking about coming in but with the holiday and all kinds of commotion none have made it in this past week but several are lined up for this week including a possible California model who contacted me about shooting her later this week. Other models supposedly coming in this week are Candice, Cassandra Cox, and Ashley.

Until next time, keep it between the ditches!!

Update now that the BLOG is working again!!

sad
After the last blog entry I shot the closing of the Mermaid night club. I spent a lot of time with the managers, directors, bartenders, DJ's, etc. They were all sad to see it go although it seemed like most would still have their jobs other than the DJ's and security people. There will be a special page put up on the TwinCitiesNightClub.Com site with an article and pictures I took.

smile sad

Since the last entry I have shot two more Best Bods on the Beach contests at the Tropix. Two weeks ago the contestants were great and the club was real busy. Last week the club was nearly empty and there were too few contestants to even hold the contest. Before going over to the Tropix I stopped by the Bartender Ball at Fahrenheit. I got there too early for the action but I did run into a gal who modeled for me quite a few times years ago. We sat and talked for awhile and it was really nice to see her again. Hope she will come back for some more shoots!

razz

The last two Fridays a new model has been over to work with me. The first time we shot most of the day and until after 1:30am. It was her first time to work with a pro and we had a blast. Enough for her to come over last Friday. She is considering a name change so I will hold off on saying more about her until she has that figured out. We are talking about getting together this week and perhaps she will even be assisting me now and then.

blush

A week ago I did a magazine shoot with two models I have worked with many times in the past. Was great to see them both and my friend Sherry did makeup for them. I am anxious to get the chromes back from the lab so I can get them off to the publisher.

rolls eyes

Have another new model coming over tomorrow. She was the coatcheck girl at the Mermaid. We talked a lot and she has an interest in seeing what she can do in the modeling field. She was a lot of fun to hang with and I am looking forward to the shoot!

wink

Was watching Showtime last night and saw one of my favorite models, Avy Scott. She was on two episodes of Family Business that were on back-to-back. Always nice to see her. Will be launching a site of her pix soon!

That is about enough for now smile So much has been going on but I wanted to gloss over the highlights!

Until next time - keep flashing!

BLOG blew up, had to restore all the old files!

Hello...

A couple weeks ago my BLOG had major problems. I had to upgrade to the new version but it wouldn't let me keep the old data so I had to manually copy everything over again as new messages. You will see the Blog entries dating back to September pretty much like how they were but links aren't active, etc. Hopefully there won't be any further problems and the blog can continue as it should. Now that it seems to be working I will update the Blog from where I left off before.

The other day I had the pleasure of shooting Serenity. I was only the second photographer to shoot her. She is being considered by Playboy for a shoot and I wish her the best of luck. She was a lot of fun to work with and we got some great shots.

Sunday night I attended as the official photographer the Best Club DJ Awards hosted by TwinCitiesNightClubs.Com. We started at Jillians where we were given some great drinks and eats and then we headed over to Gators for the awards to be given out. Was nice meeting some of the top area DJs and a bunch of other nice people.

On Monday the lovely Cassandra came back for her first professional photo shoot. We will be working together to launch a website for her and other promotional materials she can promote herself with. She also brought her friend Ivy with that I also expect to be shooting when they return from a great winter getaway vacation.

It has been my pleasure to have one of my regular models back, Natasha Orleans. She has been in twice since my last BLOG and each time she is looking better in that she has been dieting. We are working on getting content for her site and hopefully we will get her site launched in the near future after some more work on it and getting more content shot.

We just had a new model stop by, Nadeen. Nadeen is a local exotic dancer that I found on a modeling site but she has only modeled for one person and she was dissatisfied with those pix so she was happy for a chance to work with someone else. We did shoots for a rock web site and for Lollipop magazine and hopefully Nadeen will be back for more shoots soon. Turns out she knows another dancer, Cassandra, that was here last week and is coming back tomorrow for a shoot. Small world sometimes!

The last two weeks I have had the pleasure of shooting the "Hottest Bod on the Beach" contest at the Tropix night club. I intend to shoot the rest of the competitions until the contest ends and then the finals where the winner gets a trip to a spring break city of their choice including Cancun.

Tropix Night Club

Tonight I will be shooting the Best Club DJ for 2003 awards ceremony at Jillians. I am working with the TwinCitiesNightClub.com site to do these shoots and will be shooting other night clubs and events for them in the future.

January 2004 Blogs

My Archives: January 2004

Sunday, January 25, 2004

Sadly Kimberly made it to town but had to leave right away and we didn't hook up. She talked about coming back in January but hasn't yet.

A Wisconsin model, Mandelicious, stopped by and we did some quick shoots for Lollipop and a rock site. She doesn't have a lot of photographers in her area to work with so things are a little slow going for her. Wishing her the best!

A feature dancer, Crystal Gunns, was in town this past week working at one of the local clubs. She was looking for more content for her website so she stopped out for a shoot. She was a lot of fun to work with and after the shoot she gave me a present. A shirt autographed by four dancers. Not that often you get a gift from the model! She is already talking about coming by again when she gets back to town.

Quite a few models in the wings, ones I have shot with before and new ones as well. Check back for more details to come!

December 2003 Blogs

My Archives: December 2003

Sunday, December 14, 2003

In the last BLOG I mentioned that I had heard from Kimberly, my favorite model who is now living in Las Vegas but was in the Twin Cities. She had to leave town suddenly and so we didn't get to shoot but she intends to come back in January so we can shoot then.

After several emails back and forth a new model Ally made it in for a shoot and we had a nice short but sweet shoot. Am hoping she can make it back again.

Another model I have talked to for quite awhile that finally made it in was Lexy. Was great to finally have Lexy in and I also hope she will return for another shoot.

The next model to come in was a real surprise, Aya. Aya is a gorgeous Japanese girl. One of the most polite and pleasant models I have worked with. She will be coming back and wants to bring a friend with too.

Now and then something happens that is a big surprise. I was delighted to get an email from a model/actress from Las Vegas that had been referred to me by a Playmate. She has done some modeling for Fosters and just shot the pilot for a sitcom they hope to get on the air. She wants to come up in January for a shoot and work on her website. She is originally from Wisconsin so I hope she remembers what January is like in the Midwest :)

Following my Danielle shoot I had a client come by for a shoot. I had previously shot a guy's wife who had since gotten divorced and now I was shooting his new girlfriend. How the world turns :) She was a lot of fun to work with and I just got her proofs out in the mail to her.

On Monday the lovely Leigh came back to take some "amateur" pictures to get more variety. How weird to "dumb down" the pictures. On-camera flash, mostly landscapes, etc. I hope she got what she wanted but I hope she doesn't put my name on them :)

Today I received a mail from one of my most favorite models, Kimberly. Kimberly used to live here in the Twin Cities, then she moved to San Diego, and then on to Las Vegas. She came back for the holidays and contacted me for a shoot. Of all of the models I have shot that wanted to be in Playboy, Kimberly is the only one I ever submitted and they wanted her. She then she got cold feet, then wanted to, then backed out. I am hoping to get that final committment from her to get her in Playboy! I am so anxious to work with her again!!!

Arrived back from LA late on Monday the 17th and spent Tuesday unpacking and getting settled back in. On Wednesday the lovely Danielle stopped by for her first shoot with me. We did two Lollipop magazine shoots and had a great time. Danielle has been talking to her friends and is expecting to have some also come over and work with me. I also hope to have Danielle back again for another shoot!

During a break my assistant ran into an Indianapolis model, Cole Apple. She does a lot of fetish work and seemed like a great fit for my Lollipop shoots. We hooked up after Glamourcon on Saturday for our shoot. We thought it would be fun to do some risque shots around the hotel property. She got into the first Lollipop shirt and then we went into the hotel stairway. We did a combination shoot of pictures in the stairway and on the outside landing. Right behind her was the huge LAX sign at the entrance to the Los Angeles airport. I don't think the sign shows in the dark but it was there. Cole showed how versatile she was and what a hottie she is.

Following the stairway shoot we came back inside, cleaned up, changed makeup, and headed for one of the hotel fitness centers which happened to be on the floor I was staying on. One of the best fitness centers I have seen in a hotel. Cole went around the room posing on each of the different pieces of equipment. Since she is also a fitness buff, she was right at home on the various pieces of equipment. Twice during the shoot hotel staff stopped by and encouraged us to continue :) We also did a shoot in the connected sauna! Cole was so much fun to work with and I hope to shoot with her again. Following the shoot we went down to the outside hotel heated pool and hot tub for a late night swim and soak! A wonderful finish to the day!

The second day started out with another model that didn't confirm so the day was spent sightseeing as my assistant hadn't been to LA before. He also had some contacts to get in touch with so I played happy host and took him around town and of course we had another great Mexican meal.

That evening we hooked up with Playboy Playmate Sharry Konopski for a short shoot. It had been a long day for her and it was rather late at night so we only shot a few outfits but it was great to shoot the lovely Sharry. I also host and webmaster Sharry's site for her so it was nice to get together again!

Saturday and Sunday were the Glamourcon celebrity autograph and fan shows. As usual I was one of the official photographers for the event. There were many, many Playboy Playmates, Penthouse Pets, pornstars, and other models in attendance plus famous photographers like Suze Randall, her daughter Holly, and Chuck Stevens. Of course Hugh Hefner stopped by for his usual visit on Saturday which always causes mass mayhem. Since I have so many pix with him I didn't take the time to get in line to pose with him. I did shoot him with some Playmates that requested photos with him.

Following the show on Sunday I had shoots lined up with two models and a tentative third model. All three failed to show up. Each had their own excuses, however I didn't even hear the excuses until Monday....grrrrrr.... I could make a comment about models at this point but since there are many nice ones I won't sour this BLOG with sour grapes.

Leigh came over on the 11th and we had another great shoot! She is creating content for her new website which will be announced later. She is a cutie and a lot of fun to work with.

I spent the rest of the 11th and 12th packing and preparing for my trip to LA and I flew out on the evening of the 12th with my assistant, Doug. There is always so much to do in preparation for leaving for an extended period of time and with various shoots to do, places to go, things to do.

On the thirteenth we had two models scheduled and a third one was tentative. As with models in general, there are always issues. One model's daughter was sick and in another case the model's daughter's kids were sick and her daughter had to visit her husband in the hospital. Sure sounds like a lot of sick people. Either way, I had a great shoot with Playboy Playmate Charlotte Kemp. We met at her home where the wonderful makeup artist Ada was already working on her. Then we went to Vasquez rocks for a great outside shoot. Vasquez Rocks is a bizarre location where many of the Star Wars episodes are shot. The ones where they are supposedly on some foreign planet. We had a fun time avoiding hikers and the park ranger :)

Following the outside shoot we had dinner at a great Mexican restaurant in Agua Dulce and then we headed to a warehouse closer to LA. What a site to walk into a warehouse packed with luxury cars and trucks. We chose two to work with. The first one was Lenny Dykstra's 2003 BMW 745I. That car had more bells and whistles than a 747. After the BMW we did a shoot in a 1970 Mercedes convertible that is almost completely restored.

Will continue the LA trip in the next BLOG!

Following the last entry in my blog I had a string of no shows. On the 27th an amateur named Aimee was supposed to come over for her first shoot. No show, no call. Then Maddie and Krysta were supposed to come over on the 28th. Both had excuses and neither has rescheduled. On 11/4 a model/photographer was supposed to come over but said she changed her work schedule from nights to days and she has rescheduled for later. On the 5th Natasha was supposed to come over but had some conflicts but did schedule for Sunday and did show up.

Then I was supposed to shoot on the 7th and 8th with a new model, Leigh, but for some reason I can't remember she didn't make it on the 7th but did show up for a great shoot on the 8th and is coming back today for another shoot. I expect to be working with Leigh on an ongoing basis

On Sunday, as mentoned, Natasha came back. I haven't shot Natasha for just over a year and it was nice having her back again. Like Leigh, I am working on a site with Natasha so I will also be doing a lot of shoots with her.

Wednesday I leave for LA to attend Glamourcon for which I am one of the offical photographers. I am going early to do some Playboy Playmate shoots and other models. One shoot is supposed to be in a warehouse full of luxury cars. Can't wait to shoot the Playmate I haven't shot before plus the great setting. We are also going to shoot at a place called Vasquez Rocks, a gorgeous natural setting.

More news later after my shoot with Leigh here and then all the shoots in LA.

Last night was Sean's Halloween party and it was a great event. Catered food, great props, live bands, and lots of fun people. I invited one of my models, Maddie, to come and she invited another model friend Krysta to come along and they were painted as zebras as well as a male model and then another gal, Rachel, was dressed as a cheetah. Maddie and Krysta also modeled a lot of other outfits for me and they had a great time. Rachel and another gal I met, Danielle are both interested in modeling for me and I was able to see other friends and acquaintances from previous parties while there. Special thanks to my assistant Doug for his help with printing pictures and tear down.

Coming up this week I have a new model Aimee coming over Monday and then Maddie and Krysta are coming over Tuesday for shoots. More shoots in the works so stop back for the latest news!

After a couple nice shoots there was some miscommunication and Paige didn't make it back for her last shoot with me. She also skipped town and missed three other shoots as well.

Spent Saturday afternoon with an old friend cruising the Mississippi river and got some great sunset shots.

Sunday was spent with another friend and his leather gang. Shot a wide variety of models in various leather attire.

Monday brought a new model, Hunter, to the scene. A former Hooters waitress who is taking a new fork in life. This brave soul even went into my pool to get just the right shot. I applaud her for being so daring.

Today was spent working with a client on a shoot. We had a great time after she got over her nervousness :)

Will be closing my pool on Thursday. The sad ending to another delayed summer.

Was contacted by a friend of mine today to set up a studio at his Halloween party. Will get to shoot the various costumed people who attend as well as shooting various people who would like to pose with his body-painted models. Should be real interesting! Live bands, Hot DJ's, multi-level excitement! The host, Sean Doyle, is multi-talented and always comes up with the coolest events. You might be familiar with his exotic and erotic clothing designs. I had the pleasure of shooting his fashion show at the Quest.

Old September Blogs

On Friday Veronica came back for the shoot that had been scheduled the previous week. We did a shoot for one of my clients and we discussed her website further.

On Saturday a boudoir client came in for a shoot and her proofs were picked up today. Had a great time with this gal. It was her first shoot of this type and had some nervousness to overcome. I got a great letter regarding how I helped her overcome her nervousness. By the time the shoot ended you would never have know she was nervous just hours before.

Saturday night I attended a party at the new studio location of my friend and clothing designer, Sean Doyle. I am considering using his new funky space for a future photo shoot and perhaps using his talents for body painting.

Sean Doyle Clothing Designer and Much More

On Saturday Maddie was supposed to come by but had an unplanned trip out of town. She has scheduled to come in on Wednesday and I am anxiously awaiting her visit. Likewise, the rapper Afro Preachah and the Lady's of Soul who were supposed to come by on Sunday rescheduled for next Sunday. Will be the first time to work with their makeup artist so I am looking forward to seeing his work.

I have some other real exciting shoots coming up and I have been working on arrangements for some great new shoot locations. Will be attending a next weekend at one location and the following weekend at another location so I will have a better idea of what potential they have for me.

Until next time, keep warm!

Hello once again!

The lovely Tara stopped by Tuesday and we spent most of the day taking pix. She brought along some angel's wings and we had a fun time doing that shoot other than the wings "shedding" on the black muslin backdrop. She had a variety of wigs to create different styles which were fun to work with.

I mentioned earlier that Veronica had to reschedule her shoot last week due to overload. She will be back tomorrow to do another foot fetish shoot plus we might do some other things such as work on her website. I am partial to brunettes with blue eyes so it is always nice to see that combinatoin in my viewfinder.

Friday night I have a date with one of my potential models and Saturday will be a client shoot if the model who was scheduled flakes as I expect her too. Likewise, I had a shoot planned for Sunday but the agency hasn't gotten back to me so the lovely Maddie has jumped at the chance to fill in.

Until next time!
