After the last blog entry I shot the closing of the Mermaid night club. I spent a lot of time with the managers, directors, bartenders, DJ's, etc. They were all sad to see it go although it seemed like most would still have their jobs other than the DJ's and security people. There will be a special page put up on the TwinCitiesNightClub.Com site with an article and pictures I took.

Since the last entry I have shot two more Best Bods on the Beach contests at the Tropix. Two weeks ago the contestants were great and the club was real busy. Last week the club was nearly empty and there were too few contestants to even hold the contest. Before going over to the Tropix I stopped by the Bartender Ball at Fahrenheit. I got there too early for the action but I did run into a gal who modeled for me quite a few times years ago. We sat and talked for awhile and it was really nice to see her again. Hope she will come back for some more shoots!
The last two Fridays a new model has been over to work with me. The first time we shot most of the day and until after 1:30am. It was her first time to work with a pro and we had a blast. Enough for her to come over last Friday. She is considering a name change so I will hold off on saying more about her until she has that figured out. We are talking about getting together this week and perhaps she will even be assisting me now and then.
A week ago I did a magazine shoot with two models I have worked with many times in the past. Was great to see them both and my friend Sherry did makeup for them. I am anxious to get the chromes back from the lab so I can get them off to the publisher.
Have another new model coming over tomorrow. She was the coatcheck girl at the Mermaid. We talked a lot and she has an interest in seeing what she can do in the modeling field. She was a lot of fun to hang with and I am looking forward to the shoot!
Was watching Showtime last night and saw one of my favorite models, Avy Scott. She was on two episodes of Family Business that were on back-to-back. Always nice to see her. Will be launching a site of her pix soon!
That is about enough for now
So much has been going on but I wanted to gloss over the highlights!
Until next time - keep flashing!

Hello...
A couple weeks ago my BLOG had major problems. I had to upgrade to the new version but it wouldn't let me keep the old data so I had to manually copy everything over again as new messages. You will see the Blog entries dating back to September pretty much like how they were but links aren't active, etc. Hopefully there won't be any further problems and the blog can continue as it should. Now that it seems to be working I will update the Blog from where I left off before.

FREE COVER COUPON
They also have $1 beer until 11pm so you can't hardly beat that. Free cover, cheap beer, and hot bods to check out.
The other day I had the pleasure of shooting Serenity. I was only the second photographer to shoot her. She is being considered by Playboy for a shoot and I wish her the best of luck. She was a lot of fun to work with and we got some great shots.
Thursday, March 4, 2004This past week I shot the Best Bods on the Beach Contest again at the Tropix on Thursday night. If your in the Twin Cities you ought to stop by the Tropix on Thursday night to watch or compete in the competition. You can win various prizes including a trip to Mazlatan.
Vividere is the official photographer for the TwinCitesNightClub.Com website. In addition to shooting the various competitions at the Tropix night club we will be doing shoots at various other clubs and events. Here is our page on the web site:

Sunday night I attended as the official photographer the Best Club DJ Awards hosted by TwinCitiesNightClubs.Com. We started at Jillians where we were given some great drinks and eats and then we headed over to Gators for the awards to be given out. Was nice meeting some of the top area DJs and a bunch of other nice people.
On Monday the lovely Cassandra came back for her first professional photo shoot. We will be working together to launch a website for her and other promotional materials she can promote herself with. She also brought her friend Ivy with that I also expect to be shooting when they return from a great winter getaway vacation.
Sunday, February 22, 2004It has been my pleasure to have one of my regular models back, Natasha Orleans. She has been in twice since my last BLOG and each time she is looking better in that she has been dieting. We are working on getting content for her site and hopefully we will get her site launched in the near future after some more work on it and getting more content shot.
We just had a new model stop by, Nadeen. Nadeen is a local exotic dancer that I found on a modeling site but she has only modeled for one person and she was dissatisfied with those pix so she was happy for a chance to work with someone else. We did shoots for a rock web site and for Lollipop magazine and hopefully Nadeen will be back for more shoots soon. Turns out she knows another dancer, Cassandra, that was here last week and is coming back tomorrow for a shoot. Small world sometimes!
The last two weeks I have had the pleasure of shooting the "Hottest Bod on the Beach" contest at the Tropix night club. I intend to shoot the rest of the competitions until the contest ends and then the finals where the winner gets a trip to a spring break city of their choice including Cancun.
Tropix Night Club
Tonight I will be shooting the Best Club DJ for 2003 awards ceremony at Jillians. I am working with the TwinCitiesNightClub.com site to do these shoots and will be shooting other night clubs and events for them in the future.

Sadly Kimberly made it to town but had to leave right away and we didn't hook up. She talked about coming back in January but hasn't yet.
A Wisconsin model, Mandelicious, stopped by and we did some quick shoots for Lollipop and a rock site. She doesn't have a lot of photographers in her area to work with so things are a little slow going for her. Wishing her the best!
A feature dancer, Crystal Gunns, was in town this past week working at one of the local clubs. She was looking for more content for her website so she stopped out for a shoot. She was a lot of fun to work with and after the shoot she gave me a present. A shirt autographed by four dancers. Not that often you get a gift from the model! She is already talking about coming by again when she gets back to town.
Quite a few models in the wings, ones I have shot with before and new ones as well. Check back for more details to come!

In the last BLOG I mentioned that I had heard from Kimberly, my favorite model who is now living in Las Vegas but was in the Twin Cities. She had to leave town suddenly and so we didn't get to shoot but she intends to come back in January so we can shoot then.
After several emails back and forth a new model Ally made it in for a shoot and we had a nice short but sweet shoot. Am hoping she can make it back again.
Another model I have talked to for quite awhile that finally made it in was Lexy. Was great to finally have Lexy in and I also hope she will return for another shoot.
The next model to come in was a real surprise, Aya. Aya is a gorgeous Japanese girl. One of the most polite and pleasant models I have worked with. She will be coming back and wants to bring a friend with too.
Now and then something happens that is a big surprise. I was delighted to get an email from a model/actress from Las Vegas that had been referred to me by a Playmate. She has done some modeling for Fosters and just shot the pilot for a sitcom they hope to get on the air. She wants to come up in January for a shoot and work on her website. She is originally from Wisconsin so I hope she remembers what January is like in the Midwest :)

Following my Danielle shoot I had a client come by for a shoot. I had previously shot a guy's wife who had since gotten divorced and now I was shooting his new girlfriend. How the world turns :) She was a lot of fun to work with and I just got her proofs out in the mail to her.
On Monday the lovely Leigh came back to take some "amateur" pictures to get more variety. How weird to "dumb down" the pictures. On-camera flash, mostly landscapes, etc. I hope she got what she wanted but I hope she doesn't put my name on them :)
Today I received a mail from one of my most favorite models, Kimberly. Kimberly used to live here in the Twin Cities, then she moved to San Diego, and then on to Las Vegas. She came back for the holidays and contacted me for a shoot. Of all of the models I have shot that wanted to be in Playboy, Kimberly is the only one I ever submitted and they wanted her. She then she got cold feet, then wanted to, then backed out. I am hoping to get that final committment from her to get her in Playboy! I am so anxious to work with her again!!!
Arrived back from LA late on Monday the 17th and spent Tuesday unpacking and getting settled back in. On Wednesday the lovely Danielle stopped by for her first shoot with me. We did two Lollipop magazine shoots and had a great time. Danielle has been talking to her friends and is expecting to have some also come over and work with me. I also hope to have Danielle back again for another shoot!
During a break my assistant ran into an Indianapolis model, Cole Apple. She does a lot of fetish work and seemed like a great fit for my Lollipop shoots. We hooked up after Glamourcon on Saturday for our shoot. We thought it would be fun to do some risque shots around the hotel property. She got into the first Lollipop shirt and then we went into the hotel stairway. We did a combination shoot of pictures in the stairway and on the outside landing. Right behind her was the huge LAX sign at the entrance to the Los Angeles airport. I don't think the sign shows in the dark but it was there. Cole showed how versatile she was and what a hottie she is.Following the stairway shoot we came back inside, cleaned up, changed makeup, and headed for one of the hotel fitness centers which happened to be on the floor I was staying on. One of the best fitness centers I have seen in a hotel. Cole went around the room posing on each of the different pieces of equipment. Since she is also a fitness buff, she was right at home on the various pieces of equipment. Twice during the shoot hotel staff stopped by and encouraged us to continue :) We also did a shoot in the connected sauna! Cole was so much fun to work with and I hope to shoot with her again. Following the shoot we went down to the outside hotel heated pool and hot tub for a late night swim and soak! A wonderful finish to the day!
The second day started out with another model that didn't confirm so the day was spent sightseeing as my assistant hadn't been to LA before. He also had some contacts to get in touch with so I played happy host and took him around town and of course we had another great Mexican meal. That evening we hooked up with Playboy Playmate Sharry Konopski for a short shoot. It had been a long day for her and it was rather late at night so we only shot a few outfits but it was great to shoot the lovely Sharry. I also host and webmaster Sharry's site for her so it was nice to get together again!
Saturday and Sunday were the Glamourcon celebrity autograph and fan shows. As usual I was one of the official photographers for the event. There were many, many Playboy Playmates, Penthouse Pets, pornstars, and other models in attendance plus famous photographers like Suze Randall, her daughter Holly, and Chuck Stevens. Of course Hugh Hefner stopped by for his usual visit on Saturday which always causes mass mayhem. Since I have so many pix with him I didn't take the time to get in line to pose with him. I did shoot him with some Playmates that requested photos with him.
Following the show on Sunday I had shoots lined up with two models and a tentative third model. All three failed to show up. Each had their own excuses, however I didn't even hear the excuses until Monday....grrrrrr.... I could make a comment about models at this point but since there are many nice ones I won't sour this BLOG with sour grapes.
Leigh came over on the 11th and we had another great shoot! She is creating content for her new website which will be announced later. She is a cutie and a lot of fun to work with.I spent the rest of the 11th and 12th packing and preparing for my trip to LA and I flew out on the evening of the 12th with my assistant, Doug. There is always so much to do in preparation for leaving for an extended period of time and with various shoots to do, places to go, things to do.
On the thirteenth we had two models scheduled and a third one was tentative. As with models in general, there are always issues. One model's daughter was sick and in another case the model's daughter's kids were sick and her daughter had to visit her husband in the hospital. Sure sounds like a lot of sick people. Either way, I had a great shoot with Playboy Playmate Charlotte Kemp. We met at her home where the wonderful makeup artist Ada was already working on her. Then we went to Vasquez rocks for a great outside shoot. Vasquez Rocks is a bizarre location where many of the Star Wars episodes are shot. The ones where they are supposedly on some foreign planet. We had a fun time avoiding hikers and the park ranger :)
Following the outside shoot we had dinner at a great Mexican restaurant in Agua Dulce and then we headed to a warehouse closer to LA. What a site to walk into a warehouse packed with luxury cars and trucks. We chose two to work with. The first one was Lenny Dykstra's 2003 BMW 745I. That car had more bells and whistles than a 747. After the BMW we did a shoot in a 1970 Mercedes convertible that is almost completely restored.
Will continue the LA trip in the next BLOG!

Tuesday, November 11, 2003Following the last entry in my blog I had a string of no shows. On the 27th an amateur named Aimee was supposed to come over for her first shoot. No show, no call. Then Maddie and Krysta were supposed to come over on the 28th. Both had excuses and neither has rescheduled. On 11/4 a model/photographer was supposed to come over but said she changed her work schedule from nights to days and she has rescheduled for later. On the 5th Natasha was supposed to come over but had some conflicts but did schedule for Sunday and did show up.
Then I was supposed to shoot on the 7th and 8th with a new model, Leigh, but for some reason I can't remember she didn't make it on the 7th but did show up for a great shoot on the 8th and is coming back today for another shoot. I expect to be working with Leigh on an ongoing basis
On Sunday, as mentoned, Natasha came back. I haven't shot Natasha for just over a year and it was nice having her back again. Like Leigh, I am working on a site with Natasha so I will also be doing a lot of shoots with her.
Wednesday I leave for LA to attend Glamourcon for which I am one of the offical photographers. I am going early to do some Playboy Playmate shoots and other models. One shoot is supposed to be in a warehouse full of luxury cars. Can't wait to shoot the Playmate I haven't shot before plus the great setting. We are also going to shoot at a place called Vasquez Rocks, a gorgeous natural setting.
More news later after my shoot with Leigh here and then all the shoots in LA.

Last night was Sean's Halloween party and it was a great event. Catered food, great props, live bands, and lots of fun people. I invited one of my models, Maddie, to come and she invited another model friend Krysta to come along and they were painted as zebras as well as a male model and then another gal, Rachel, was dressed as a cheetah. Maddie and Krysta also modeled a lot of other outfits for me and they had a great time. Rachel and another gal I met, Danielle are both interested in modeling for me and I was able to see other friends and acquaintances from previous parties while there. Special thanks to my assistant Doug for his help with printing pictures and tear down.
Coming up this week I have a new model Aimee coming over Monday and then Maddie and Krysta are coming over Tuesday for shoots. More shoots in the works so stop back for the latest news!

Tuesday, October 21, 2003After a couple nice shoots there was some miscommunication and Paige didn't make it back for her last shoot with me. She also skipped town and missed three other shoots as well.
Spent Saturday afternoon with an old friend cruising the Mississippi river and got some great sunset shots.
Sunday was spent with another friend and his leather gang. Shot a wide variety of models in various leather attire.
Monday brought a new model, Hunter, to the scene. A former Hooters waitress who is taking a new fork in life. This brave soul even went into my pool to get just the right shot. I applaud her for being so daring.
Today was spent working with a client on a shoot. We had a great time after she got over her nervousness :)
Will be closing my pool on Thursday. The sad ending to another delayed summer.
Was contacted by a friend of mine today to set up a studio at his Halloween party. Will get to shoot the various costumed people who attend as well as shooting various people who would like to pose with his body-painted models. Should be real interesting! Live bands, Hot DJ's, multi-level excitement! The host, Sean Doyle, is multi-talented and always comes up with the coolest events. You might be familiar with his exotic and erotic clothing designs. I had the pleasure of shooting his fashion show at the Quest.

On Friday Veronica came back for the shoot that had been scheduled the previous week. We did a shoot for one of my clients and we discussed her website further.
On Saturday a boudoir client came in for a shoot and her proofs were picked up today. Had a great time with this gal. It was her first shoot of this type and had some nervousness to overcome. I got a great letter regarding how I helped her overcome her nervousness. By the time the shoot ended you would never have know she was nervous just hours before.
Saturday night I attended a party at the new studio location of my friend and clothing designer, Sean Doyle. I am considering using his new funky space for a future photo shoot and perhaps using his talents for body painting.
Sean Doyle Clothing Designer and Much More
On Saturday Maddie was supposed to come by but had an unplanned trip out of town. She has scheduled to come in on Wednesday and I am anxiously awaiting her visit. Likewise, the rapper Afro Preachah and the Lady's of Soul who were supposed to come by on Sunday rescheduled for next Sunday. Will be the first time to work with their makeup artist so I am looking forward to seeing his work.
I have some other real exciting shoots coming up and I have been working on arrangements for some great new shoot locations. Will be attending a next weekend at one location and the following weekend at another location so I will have a better idea of what potential they have for me.
Until next time, keep warm!
Thursday, September 25, 2003Hello once again!
The lovely Tara stopped by Tuesday and we spent most of the day taking pix. She brought along some angel's wings and we had a fun time doing that shoot other than the wings "shedding" on the black muslin backdrop. She had a variety of wigs to create different styles which were fun to work with.
I mentioned earlier that Veronica had to reschedule her shoot last week due to overload. She will be back tomorrow to do another foot fetish shoot plus we might do some other things such as work on her website. I am partial to brunettes with blue eyes so it is always nice to see that combinatoin in my viewfinder.
Friday night I have a date with one of my potential models and Saturday will be a client shoot if the model who was scheduled flakes as I expect her too. Likewise, I had a shoot planned for Sunday but the agency hasn't gotten back to me so the lovely Maddie has jumped at the chance to fill in.
Until next time!
